10 Best WWE Last Man Standing Matches

9. Triple H Vs. Shawn Michaels - Royal Rumble 2004

These two legends that are legitimately the best of friends had so many awesome matches with different stipulations that it's hard to really say what one was the best. As was usually the case when they wrestled, Hunter was the heel and Michaels was the babyface that kept on fighting. There was a lot of blood in this battle after Michaels missed a dive outside the ring. He came up bleeding pretty bad. It wasn't just Shawn that bled, though. Michaels ended up nailing Hunter in the head and he bled too. It's not a surprise that both of these guys would bleed in the same match because they were both known for doing that in big matches. It's not surprising that they did an excellent job of building up the drama for an exciting considering who was in the match. When Hunter nailed Michaels with a Pedigree in the middle of ring towards the end it looked as though that would be it. Instead, Michaels got up. Then Michaels ended up hitting a Superkick that knocked Hunter down and Michaels collapsed too. Both guys stayed down. The match ended up as a draw. They did have better singles matches together like their classic at SummerSlam 2002 and a match on Raw in December of 2003, but this Last Man Standing battle was still very good.
