10 Best WWE Matches That Ever Happened In July

Daniel Bryan and CM Punk's favourite month...

The month of July isn't necessarily known as a historically great month for WWE because the PPV events held in July have gone through so many names. We know that the end of March or early April has the best show of the year in WrestleMania while August has SummerSlam, January has the Royal Rumble and November has Survivor Series. There's no show title that can claim the month of July. The first July PPV was the second In Your House event in 1995 simply called "The Lumberjacks" and in subsequent years had International Incident, Canadian Stampede and Fully Loaded for the next three years. In 2001 it had the memorable Invasion PPV, then Vengeance for three years and the Great American Bash from 2005-08. There was also a July Night of Champions in 2009, then from 2010 until 2013 there was Money in the Bank. Since MITB moved to the end of June, this year's July PPV is called Battleground. If you're keeping track that's 10 different PPV names for July PPVs in the last 20 years. When it comes to the best July matches ever, there are dozens of great ones to choose from. This list is more than just the best July PPV matches. There are going to be some matches that took place on television as well. It's going to be about much more than Money in the Bank matches too. Most of those were great, but only one of them will make it. To qualify for this one it's pretty simple. It's about the top 10 matches that took place in WWE ring in the month of July. Let's begin with a match that took place last year.
