Spare the eye rolls. It’s tough to include Ziggler on the list because he’s been guilty lately of not trying nearly as hard as used to in the past, both on the mic and in the ring.
However, Ziggler’s laziness isn’t borne out of boredom, but rather frustration with having the rug yanked out from under him time in and time out just as it looks like he’s finally going to break through the glass ceiling. He’s proven that when motivated, like during his Intercontinental Title feud with The Miz last year, he can be captivating with his stories. It also doesn’t change the fact that, on song, he’s still one of the best overall workers in the company.
Ziggler has had the bone dangled in front of him for so long. It’s about time to let him catch it.
