10 Big Angles For Randy Orton's WWE Return

Orton's coming back but whose side is he on?

Randy Orton has been gone for less than a month but, given the breakneck pace of the current product and how quickly storylines move, that sees like a long time to some. So long, in fact, that many people were surprised and a little disappointed that Orton didn't return as a member of Team Cena at Survivor Series. The show took place in Orton's home town of St. Louis and it would have been a good time for Orton to exact revenge against Seth Rollins and the authority for putting him out. Instead it was Sting who made his debut and foiled The Authority which was obviously a much bigger story, since it was the first time that Sting has ever stepped foot in a WWE ring. But where was Orton? Reports suggest that he was backstage at the show but was not used. WWE is holding off his return for further down the line, now that filming on The Condemned 2 has wrapped. When Orton does come back he has a ready-made feud with Rollins and ex-Authority members and has arguably increased his stock in the eyes of the fans. Orton needed a break. We've seen him on WWE TV for a long, long time now and he was starting to get stale. There are lots of ways for Orton return following his break. Let's just hope it's not 'via satellite'.
