10 Big Changes Happening To The WWE Product

10. Faction Wars

One of the most fundamental changes right now is how WWE organises its on-air talent. Gone are the days of tag-team wrestling dominating the product, it's right now all about three man teams. Factions are proving to be a key part of Monday Night Raw, on a level with (if not more important in some cases) than the singles division. Just take a look at how many TV main events the Shield have featured in. The promotion of factions was further developed in the re-generation of the product the night after WrestleMania. Raw ended with The Shield siding with Daniel Bryan against the Triple H led Evolution and Kane. A full on faction battle now seems likely for May's Extreme Rules PPV. It all harks back to the classic days of faction wars in the WCW and WWF, who knows, we might even see a war games match at Extreme Rules. Hunter did after all end Raw shouting "this is war!" It isn't just in the main event we have a faction led roster. The Wyatt family are also leading the way and there are plans for a 'Union' faction in the near future with disgruntled stars such as Dolph Ziggler. The new booking strategy is proving entertaining, and WWE only need to look at the likes of DX, NWO and the original Evolution to see how successful a faction led card can be.
