10 Biggest "Jannettys" In Wrestling History

8. D'Von Dudley - The Dudley Boyz

Neither of the two Dudley Boyz have had singles careers that have reached the level of Shawn Michaels, but if you had to pick a second banana out of the two, D'Von would be the obvious choice.

The Dudleys were split by management in the initial brand extension draft in 2002, and D'Von was given a heel reverend gimmick on SmackDown while Bubba Ray basically maintained the same character on Raw. WWE quickly realized their mistake and reunited the team later that year, and they stayed together throughout the rest of their initial WWE run.

It was in TNA that the Dudleys got to show off their singles chops. Bubba Ray (now Bully Ray) took the ball and ran with it, becoming TNA World Champion and doing a pretty good job in the top heel role in the company. The highest D'Von ever got was as the Sergeant-at-Arms of the Aces and Eights heel stable.

Right now, Bubba is enjoying a run in Ring of Honor teaming with the Briscoes, while D'Von has all but essentially retired, taking a role as a backstage agent in WWE. They'll go into the WWE Hall of Fame as a tag team, but it's obvious that Bubba Ray has had the better singles career of the two.
