10 Biggest Heat-Seekers In WWE History

From genuine hatred to nuclear heat, who were the most effective 'bad' guys and gals?

It's been said that the art of being a bona fide heel in the world of professional wrestling has been lost to the sands of time. There can be no doubt about it, the industry has changed immeasurably over the years, and whilst there are still obviously many things which have stayed the same, the way villains are treated cannot be counted as one of them. Somewhere along the line, heels became 'cool', and suddenly they were booed less and less, instead being revered by fans. People love to live vicariously through the actions of others, and more often than not heels have the most fun, so why wouldn't fans want to hold them in high regard? Generally, this change in the heel kingdom is traced back to the formation of the nWo. Hated at first, it wasn't long before the group were hearing cheers coming from crowds, as folks around ringside started to see them as more hip and bad-a** than the babyfaces running around mid-90's WCW. Similarly, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin was a definitive, classic heel, but fans went nuts for the guy, favouring his steely persona over the more friendly personalities like Bret Hart. So, times may have moved on, and being a heel has become harder than ever before, but who have been the absolute best villains in WWE history?
