AJ Styles springs to mind, walking into and out of 2017 with the WWE Championship. Somehow, Roman Reigns managed to start the year as the United States Champion and end it as the Intercontinental Champion. Even stranger, Charlotte and Alexa Bliss started off the year as Raw and SmackDown Live! Women's Champions respectively, and by the end of the year had swapped colors.
If these coincidences weren’t weird enough, Jason Jordan enters into this category as well. Not only did he change the title he won, he also changed the tag team partner he won it with! American Alpha won the SmackDown titles in the last week of 2016, and in the last week of 2017, Jordan again found himself winning a tag team championship, only this time, on Raw with Seth Rollins.
