10 Booking Steps For Daniel Bryan Vs Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania 31

What a WrestleMania main event it would be.

Daniel Bryan Yes Yes Yes Daniel Bryan never lost the WWE World Heavyweight Title. Vacating the title due to injury led to the inevitable John Cena reign and, later, the ongoing reign of the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar. When Muhammad Ali was banned from boxing due to his stance against the Vietnam War, he maintained that he, having never been legitimately dethroned, was the true champion. Similarly, while the WWE may have dreams of pushing Roman Reigns as the next best thing, if Daniel Bryan is fit and ready to partake in WrestleMania 31, he, like Ali, can claim that the title still belongs around his waist. With Mania approaching, it seems the WWE has decided to proceed with the plan of a Lesner vs Reigns headliner. But many are of the view that Reigns is too rough and, at present, too limited a performer to carry the company's torch forward. Some in this camp think that Reigns could go on to be the star that the WWE wants, but that his time simply hasn't arrived just yet. Bryan, on the other hand, has been there and done that, and in some awesome fashion. While he may not be as young as Reigns, a fit again 33 year old Bryan could offer a few remaining years on top, and could cement his name as an all-time great with a second WrestleMania victory, especially over the monstrous Lesnar. The thought of Lesnar v Bryan at Mania is an enticing one. But with Bryan having been sidelined for so long, and with no apparent heat between the former and current champion, the WWE€™s creative team needs to take some very careful steps to ensure that, come March 29, fans can€™t wait to see Bryan headline Mania again. Here€™s how they can do it.
