10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (Feb 27)
A vindictive Stephanie McMahon shouldn't even let Seth Rollins address his injuries...
WWE's official website boasts that both Seth Rollins and Bill Goldberg will be in the house for the final Raw before Fastlane. The latter will be there to address comments made by Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar last week, but WWE's creative team must ensure that Goldberg doesn't forget about Kevin Owens and his Universal Title challenge.
As for Rollins, a recent injury suffered during an in-ring segment with Samoa Joe will keep Seth out of Fastlane, and sadly also threatens his second consecutive WrestleMania appearance. There's still hope that Rollins will recover in time to work a match with Triple H, because it'd be a personal disaster for Seth to miss 'Mania again.
Those aren't the only issues burning on Raw; there are also feuds pitting Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman, Charlotte vs. Bayley and The Club vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass to flesh out before Sunday's pay-per-view.
Lastly, WWE may just follow up on a thinly-veiled threat delivered by Stephanie McMahon to Mick Foley on last week's show...
10. Stephanie McMahon Blocks Seth Rollins Return
It'd be a great starting point for Raw if some familiar riffs began to play, and Seth Rollins made his way towards the ring. Fans will be delighted to see Rollins again; even with the knowledge that Seth will miss the next pay-per-view, he remains one of Raw's most popular stars.
Just as Seth reaches the ring and puts a microphone to his lips, the vindictive Stephanie McMahon should arrive on the scene with an assortment of WWE officials and security guards. Her sole purpose for being out there would be to announce that Rollins' appearance had been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict.
This feeds into the ongoing struggle for power between Raw's Commissioner and her General Manager, Mick Foley. Should Stephanie can Seth's scheduled appearance, Triple H's wife would theoretically get nuclear heat from an irate live audience.
Ushered out of the building and left powerless by Steph's security force, an aggressive Rollins repeatedly shouts that Stephanie hasn't seen the last of him, because he'll be back for her husband sooner rather than later.
