Could Raw be the moment AJ Styles finally bites back at Roman Reigns?

Thus far, WWE have been doing a stellar job portraying AJ Styles as a man who wants to do the right thing. Styles is coming across like someone who reeks professionalism, he wants to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title by cleanly defeating Roman Reigns. Unfortunately, there's little chance he's ever going to achieve that.

AJ threw everything he had at Reigns during Payback's main event, but he just couldn't get the job done in the end. This may lead to Styles eventually turning heel, finally fully accepting help from Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to tear down the WWE Champion and snatch the belt for himself.

Monday Night Raw needs to further the tale, because there are mere weeks until Extreme Rules. Similarly, the ongoing power struggle between Shane and Stephanie McMahon should be continued, and the siblings should bicker about absolutely every decision Raw requires.

Let's look at what WWE could have in store for this coming Monday night, building towards the incoming pay-per-view on May 22...

There's no doubt that Becky Lynch will someday become WWE Women's Champion, but right now she's not the main story in the division. That issue belongs to Charlotte and Natalya, the latter of whom Becky teamed with on SmackDown to beat the Champion and Emma in enjoyable tag-team action. Charlotte should have the last laugh on Raw.

On SmackDown, Natalya made Emma tap out to the Sharpshooter. Submissions are going to be a theme going forward, because that's the stipulation of the Women's Title bout at Extreme Rules. Watching from the commentary desk, Natalya could see her pay-per-view opponent taken to the limit by Lynch.

Provided she's allowed to look competitive, the loss won't hurt Becky too much. Knowing Natalya was watching, Ric Flair would keep out of the match for the most part, but he'd still watch his darling daughter pick up the win.

After making Lynch submit to the Figure Eight, Charlotte could spin her around and lock on the Sharpshooter, taunting Natalya. When the challenger came in to help her friend, the champ would bail from the ring with a smile on her face.
