10 Burning Questions For WWE Raw (April 23)

How will new talent fare? Will Brock/Roman tangle? Will Steph run roughshod?

WrestleMania is in the books. Raw and SmackDown have been sufficiently shaken up. It’s time for WWE to get back to “normal,” right?

Well, as normal as can be. WWE has undergone a lot of changes in recent weeks, with several NXT superstars debuting, injured wrestlers returning, and the rosters getting a makeover. But Monday begins a new era (yes, that gets overused, but go with it) for Raw, as we have a roster that has more than 20 new faces due to call-ups, returns and shakeups.

With a remade roll-call, it will be very interesting to see how these new pieces fit together. Will some of the newest members tangle with established wrestlers on Raw? Will their rivalries from SmackDown carry over to the red brand? Or will they just assimilate and become part of the scenery?

There’s a debate regarding which brand “won” the shakeup, and while Raw seemingly gained more superstars, that doesn’t mean it fared better. A lot will depend on how these superstars are integrated and used going forward, which we’ll begin to see on Raw Monday night.

So let’s take a look at some of the big questions facing WWE on Raw.

10. What Havoc Will KO And Sami Wreak?

It’s been a rough ride for Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. The duo lost their jobs on SmackDown, failed to win them back at WrestleMania, and then lost an opportunity for one of them to get a job on Raw.

But then they were hired to Raw by commissioner Stephanie McMahon, giving them a huge boost. However, before they could even get comfortable, their alliance with The Miz and Miztourage was upended by Miz being sent to SmackDown.

Still, KO and Sami have built a reputation for being thorns in the side of authority figures. Will that continue on Raw? Will the two Canadians keep creating problems for GM Kurt Angle and try to weasel their way into titles and other high-profile spots?

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
