10 Character Changes WWE Completely Ignores Today

The insane evolution of WWE superstars.

World Wrestling Entertainment produces a hell of a lot of television. The product moves quicker than ever before, and that fact means the company rattles through character changes at a breakneck speed. For example, Cesaro has only been on the main roster for a little over 3 years. That's not an incredible length of time, but in WWE's bubble, it's a lifetime. Even in this relatively short period, the 'Swiss Superman' has changed from heel to babyface a number of times. The creative team have even booked him to yodel on his way to the ring, in an attempt to have him show more personality. It's character nuances such as those that this article aims to focus on. There are so many examples of little traits that WWE don't even mention anymore. On occasion, that's not a problem, because the fan base understands that characters need to morph and evolve. Sometimes however, these traits can be part of major storylines, and that makes it more difficult to overlook them. For most of the entries on this list, WWE would prefer fans didn't pay any attention to them. Going further, it really seems that the promotion would like it if wrestling fans flat out pretended they never happened.
