10 Current WWE Observations From A Lapsed Fan

What does a former fan who hasn't watched wrestling since 2001 think of it now?

Everyone has them, those close friends who wonder exactly why their good buddy continues to watch professional wrestling. For some, it's become a relic of the past, something which - whilst great for quick bursts of conversational nostalgia - only exists as 'something they used to watch'. Whether rightly or wrongly, a lot of people who have stopped watching wrestling think of it as childish, they simply don't have time for it nowadays. Besides, it's not the same as it used to be, right? There are arguments for that view, but there are almost certainly those which directly oppose it. After all, the product put on by WWE is still largely the same at a core level. Even so, this article explores 10 different opinions which spewed from the mouth of one lapsed fan whilst watching the most recent WWE Pay-Per-View, Payback, as well as a few episodes of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. This person hadn't so much as glanced at wrestling since 2001, pretty much after both WCW and ECW had went to the wall and the whole 'Invasion' of the WWF started. What follows is almost like someone from that time period stepping out of a time capsule, wondering in awe about an industry they left behind nearly 15 years ago.
