Ring the bell and cancel the voting, because we already have 2018's happiest wrestling moment.

WWE's announcement that Daniel Bryan has been medically cleared to make an in-ring return is some of the best news in a while. Seeing Bryan look bored as an on-screen authority figure and hearing of his battles with depression at home were upsetting, but now it's time to welcome back the single most popular babyface of the past decade.

One could almost feel the energy coming from Bryan as he blasted Kevin Owens with kicks on the latest SmackDown, and (eventual stretcher job notwithstanding) it was great to see him back where he belongs. Now, there are hopes that Daniel will team with Shane McMahon at WrestleMania to take on KO and Sami Zayn.

Once that's out of the way, WWE must keep Bryan occupied.

There's so much lost time to make up for, so many fresh opponents Bryan can work and old rivalries to be rekindled. Start getting excited and bring out your old "Respect The Beard" t-shirts, because 2018 just got a hell of a lot more interesting...

10. Kevin Owens/Sami Zayn

The only reason Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn fall so early on this list (and become a joint effort) is because it looks like they'll be first up for Bryan at WrestleMania 34 anyway.

Granted, it'll be a tag team match if anything, and we're sure to see Shane McMahon channel his inner MMA and rabbit punch the heck out of KO and Sami. Never mind all that though, because Daniel bloody Bryan will be physically involved in a WWE match for the first time since 2015, and his "Yes" kicks will more than make up for it.

Post-WrestleMania, WWE can easily squeeze some more juice from the situation and parlay both KO/Zayn into a straight-up feud with Bryan. Both are good friends with Daniel away from the ring, and they're both trusted enough to protect him during his first few matches back as an active wrestler.

Think of it this way: if Owens is deemed trustworthy enough to head butt Vince McMahon, then he's responsible enough to make sure Bryan, a good pal, doesn't get hurt too.
