10 Darkest YouTube Wrestling Videos

9. Something The Hardy Boyz Wish They Could Delete

Everybody knows Jeff Hardy's drug history, so this video isn't particularly surprising.

What makes it dark is how pitiful it is. Filmed as a reaction to Punk's on-air slating of Hardy's 2009 drug bust - which has to be the biggest PR disaster WWE ever narrowly averted - Hardy, drugged up to the eyeballs, claims to have made Punk a superstar, which while awfully self-aggrandising, isn't strictly untrue. He then says that he could "end it like this", performing Punk's signature hand rolls before transitioning into a double bird flip, saying that "you can't even do that sh*t in your own company anymore", but '"in this world, we can do what we want".

They're in a low-rent diner in the dead of night, filming themselves with their own equipment. It's hardly going to be regulated. Hardy goes on to say that "if everybody was like [Punk], man, I'd rather live on Pluto". Jeff, mate, you were already there.

Not one to let the side down, a thoroughly spent Matt Hardy Hasselhoffs some french fries, being so self unaware as to brag about being friend-zoned.

For anyone who believes that the brothers Hardy are operating on some deceptively clever meta level with this 'Final Deletion' business, this video engulfs that theory in a ball of pyrotechnical flames.
