10 Defining Matches That Make People Hate John Cena

John Cena. Of all the men to have ever stepped into a WWE ring, nobody divides opinion quite like the leader of the "Cenation". Adored by millions due to his ability to never give up and quit, he is hated by many for exactly the same reason. In fact, there are plenty of reasons why people dislike John Cena. Those boos every single time his entrance music hits are not without reasoning - the ability he has to win matches he really shouldn't be winning is glaring. That leads to him burying some amazingly exciting stars for no real reason, which causes a whole host of disharmony amongst wrestling fans. It also could be that he headlines pay-per-view shows for no real reason, largely due to the insignificance of the rivalry he is often in. In truth, there are lots and lots of reasons why Cena is just simply not liked by wrestling fans all across the globe. His wrestling ability is often criticized but, to give the man some credit, that isn't really one of the reasons why people just can't get into Cena. His match against CM Punk at Money in the Bank 2011 dispel the myth that John Cena can't wrestle - let's be honest, anyone who steps into a WWE ring can wrestle, just with differing levels of ability. But since his debut in 2002, there have been a huge clutch of matches that have really sent his popularity plummeting. That kid who impressed greatly against Kurt Angle in his first ever TV match - another example of Cena in a good wrestling match - has become a real figure of hate. Whether it is not selling the match correctly, stealing the limelight or simply winning when he should be losing, there are plenty of matches that have made people hate John Cena.
