10 Epic Million Dollar Ideas WCW Refused To Use

Scarily, WWE booking now resembles WCW.

WCW should never have gone out of business. It was a pro wrestling colossus, rich in resources and finances. Looking at it in 1996 and 1997, you could never imagine it failing. The roster was stacked with talent, many of whom were involved in thrilling storylines and sensational matches. But WCW did die, failing because they couldn't see where the real money was. Instead, Eric Bischoff and WCW officials focused on old time stars. Wrestlers like Kevin Nash have since admitted that they only cared about the money, showing little remorse about the demise of the once strong brand. It could have been so different, if only WCW had focused on epic million dollar ideas, instead of focusing on paying the likes of Nash and Hulk Hogan millions for the same tired acts. New ideas were ignored, and WCW eventually drained itself of value. Even when business numbers had been good, the lack of substance was always evident. WWE in contrast were innovative. They came up with new concepts and explored epic ideas, for example the Mr McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin narrative. That was a multi million dollar idea. If only WCW had also innovated, if only they'd considered some of the following epic million dollar ideas.
