For the most part, the WWE likes to pretend that it exists in its own universe, where Vince McMahon is in control of absolutely everything. Nothing happens without him knowing about it, and whatever the consequences of those decisions are, there€™s always someone in control to make sure that the WWE can handle it. We see and hear about this on a regular basis: someone in the production truck, either Vince or Kevin Dunn, is feeding lines to the commentators during a match. The wrestling matches, or at least the finishes, are gone over meticulously by the suits at the top. The decisions to push one Superstar or another is carefully analyzed and thought over long before it begins. The point here is that, in the WWE, everything is controlled, and things rarely, if ever, go outside of that chain of command €” Or not.
