It feels a little bit harsh to put this match on the list - hell, there are some who think this is the best WrestleMania match of all-time. But hear me out; there are a valid reason or two for this match making it on the list. There's a reason you don't see too many Iron Man matches anymore, and that's because it's so, so hard to captivate the imagination of the audience for a full hour of wrestling. The WWE are barely capable of rolling out a 20-minute match that is enthralling these days, so scratch the possibility of them doing an hour-long contest! Sure, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart did a decent job of putting a good show on for certain periods, but it just couldn't keep going for a full hour. Watching it back, you can see how the crowd gradually get less interested in things as we roll past the half-hour mark. It becomes painfully obvious that it's going to be 0-0, and it will be decided in sudden death. That left a real lull for the last half of the match, and it just didn't flow as it should have done. Again, it does feel a bit harsh to place it on this list, but it didn't have the same level of intensity and chemistry for a full hour. The crowd knew it, and so did Shawn and Bret.
