9. Eva Marie Wrestled Her First Match Ever At AXXESS
Most wrestlers have their first ever match at some sparsely-attended independent show. Celebrity wrestlers debut at pay-per-views or otherwise major events. Eva Marie may have been the only wrestler in recorded history to have their first ever match at a fan convention.
The widely-derided redhead was brought in to be a ringer on the forthcoming Total Divas series. She reported to the WWE Performance Center earlier in 2013, and was first brought to the audience's attention one month prior to SummerSlam. Early assessment was that she was one of those Kevin Dunn hires that takes attention away from harder-working women.
The day of SummerSlam, at the AXXESS festival, she teamed with fellow Total Divas star Brie Bella in a match against Natalya and WWE celebrity friend Maria Menounos. Natalya and Brie had a match against each other later that night, and Eva Marie reportedly looked awful in her first outing, so one wonders what the point of the AXXESS match even was.
