Longtime WWE fans will associate the words "Richfield, Ohio" with those glorious Survivor Series' of yore, when the Thanksgiving night shows in 1987 and 1988 took place at the Richfield Coliseum. The 1992 Thanksgiving Eve show emanated from the same building, but is admittedly far less memorable.

The 2004 Survivor Series didn't come from the Richfield Coliseum (the building was demolished in 1999), but instead took place in Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena, just 21 minutes north in 'The Buckeye State'. Richfield is considered a suburb of Cleveland.

For fans of a certain age that try to get into today's product, while simultaneously clinging to the halcyon joys of yesteryear (like a certain author here), you take any sort of link to the past when you can get it. The 2004 Survivor Series is in Ohio? Well then it's just like the 1987 show!
