8. The Edge Vs. Booker T Match Had A Hair Vs. Hair Stipulation Pitched

"THEY ARE FIGHTING OVER SHAMPOO" was an actual sign at WrestleMania X8, and a fine piece of literalist humor. After all, the storyline was that Edge had beaten out Booker T for a spot in a Japanese shampoo commercial, and Booker couldn't cope with that fact. Not exactly a feud worthy of a music video set to "My Way".

A proposal for the match incorporated the hair aspect even further. According to Booker, it was suggested that the two would have a hair-vs-hair match. Booker knew he'd be doing the honors, and balked at the idea, as he was finally beginning to grow his hair in and didn't want to begin anew.

The stipulation was instead kept on ice for Edge's feud shortly thereafter with Kurt Angle, whose receding hairline called for just such a stipulation.
