10 Fastest WWE Title Changes Ever

9. Hustle, Loyalty, And Respect (But Mainly Hustle)

Officially, Rey Mysterio is in the record books as a three-time wrestling world champion - but the third (and, to date, final) of these reigns was of so little consequence that it's probably best if we all just forget that it ever happened.

In part, this was because everyone knew that the real WWE Champion was CM Punk, who took his crown home with him after "leaving" the company following victory over John Cena at Money in the Bank 2011. The tournament they held on Raw in his absence was basically a complete farce.

Even if you ignore that, it was still a sorry night for WWE's Ultimate Underdog, who won the title from The Miz at the beginning of the show only to lose it about an hour later when John Cena - being the loyal and respectful guy that he is - snatched it off of him in the main event.

To be fair, it made perfect sense from a storyline point of view for the franchise player to serve as Vince McMahon's paper champion while Punk was away. It just seems very odd that sweet, innocent Rey Mysterio was the guy thrown under the bus. Was Randy Orton not available?
