9. Tatanka - WrestleMania 32

When you think of the great WWE in-ring WrestleMania returns in recent years, names like Bill Goldberg, The Hardy Boyz and The Rock are often quick to spring to mind. One name that is not is Tatanka.

As a participant in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32, Tatanka's first appearance in a WWE since 2007 was about as random as it gets. While legends spots are great for a nostalgia pop - as DDP proved in that exact same match - Tatanka's insertion was made even more bizarre by the fact he wasn't even given his own entrance. WWE's decision to have him there with no bespoke entry robbed him of the very nostalgia pop that the legends are famed for.

Instead, the Native American simply showed up in the ring with the rest of the acts that weren't given the privilege of a solo introduction and just began battling like he had never left. Even the commentary team seemed surprised by his inclusion and only clocked him several minutes in.

Nevertheless, it wasn't his night and WWE's tomahawk toting tribesman wound up being the eighth man eliminated, downed at the hands of the eventual winner, Baron Corbin.
