Anything can't happen in WWE...

When it comes to former superstars and their returns to WWE, fans are taught to never say never. After all, the company's facilitated some of the most improbable second comings of prodigal sons and daughters that most analysts could imagine -- from Bruno Sammartino, who badmouthed WWE's product for years before accepting induction into the 2013 Hall of Fame class; to Sable, who angered her co-workers, sued the company, and came back to work an angle with Torrie Wilson; to Hulk Hogan, who joined WCW, made it the number one wrestling promotion in the world, returned to WWE, joined TNA, failed to work the same magic, and returned to WWE once again. The company and their superstars have made it perfectly clear that there are very few doors that are permanently shut.

Still, there are some superstars and divas with whom, for whatever reason, the company's bad blood goes beyond even what it did for Sammartino, Sable, and Hogan -- or even worse, there's just no money to be made for WWE in a return.

From the men and women who aired dirty laundry to the ones who simply aren't worth the paycheck, here are 10 former WWE superstars who will never be able to call themselves that again.

10. Scott Steiner

Scott Steiner was one of the top stars in WCW during the company's final days, and even though viewership was so low, fans were excited to see him join WWE in late 2002. That excitement quickly waned when Steiner entered into a feud with Triple H and, in their subsequent matches, showed that he was a shell of his former physical self. By 2004, he was gone from the company.

Never one to keep his mouth shut, Steiner began to criticize WWE (and Triple H, in particular) after his departure, famously stating that, when asked to take a drug test, he said he'd do it if HHH did -- then never heard about it again. Steiner found a long-term home in TNA, but after leaving that company in 2012, his behavior became even more insane -- he badmouthed Hulk Hogan, Brooke Hogan, Dixie Carter, and Eric Bischoff on Twitter until he was threatened with a lawsuit.

Most recently, Steiner found himself banned from the 2015 Hall of Fame ceremony following an alleged accosting of Hulk Hogan's wife and death threats toward Hogan himself. While Steiner, at age 52, still competes, he'll never be worth the headache for WWE.
