10 Fun Facts About My Trip To WWE WrestleMania 24

With WWE starting to promote the Royal Rumble, it means it€™s almost WrestleMania season so I€™m back with the next installment of my Fun Facts From Mania series and this time I€™m here to talk about my experience in Orlando for WrestleMania XXIV. You can click on my name down at the bottom and check out all of my previous adventures on holiday to the States for WrestleMania but 2008 was special because my buddy Mike came with me and I had a fellow wrestling fan with me. Finally I could make obscure and niche references on wrestling and they€™d be understood. Huzzah! This was my fifth year heading out to the good old US of A for WrestleMania and with it being in such a touristy destination like Orlando, I was pretty excited about the trip. This was essentially going to be the Ric Flair weekend, from his Hall of Fame induction and final match, to his big send off on RAW. In previous years, the Hall of Fame ceremony was an intimate affair held in a ballroom or a small amphitheatre but 2008 was the first time WWE decided to take it to an arena and sell 10,000 tickets. I was curious to see how putting it in the Amway Arena would change the vibe of the ceremony. This was also the first outdoor WrestleMania since Caesars Palace back in 1993 so it was cool to be a part of that and get to experience the show outdoors...
