10 Great Forgotten Matches You Must Watch On WWE Network

4. Diamond Dallas Page VS Goldberg (WCW Halloween Havoc 1998)

WWE.comWWE.comThis match is similar to Randy Savage VS The Ultimate Warrior, in that people knew Diamond Dallas Page was a good worker (and also, like Savage, preferred to go over his matches meticulously with opponents beforehand), but people didn't really think Goldberg could do much in the ring, but when these two faced off, everyone was surprised that the match ended up being pretty good. It was probably the best Goldberg match, especially in his WCW years. What really makes people forget about this match is that it took place on the same card as "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan VS The Warrior in their not-so long-awaited rematch. In fact, it took place right after the Hogan VS Warrior match. Hogan VS Warrior has been called the worst match of all-time by many people, and at best, it was the worst match of 1998. When something like that happens, people tend to remember it and nothing else from that particular show. That's a shame for Goldberg, who will have what could be his best match go mostly forgotten, while a lot of his worst moments (WrestleMania 20 VS Brock Lesnar, nearly ending his own career by smashing a limousine window with his hand, etc) are vividly remembered forever.
