World Championship Wrestling. Those three words generate all different sorts of emotions in the minds of wrestling fans anytime they hear them. For a brief time in the 1990s, WCW was the unquestioned number one wrestling company in North America and pushed the World Wrestling Federation to change to the Attitude Era, thus changing the wrestling business forever. Many articles have been written about the great (and not-so-great) moments from World Championship Wrestling but this isn't one those. We all know how cool it was when Bill Goldberg beat Hulk Hogan in the Georgia Dome or how stunned everyone was when Hulk Hogan joined the New World Order, so why rehash those again? This article covers those great moments that haven't been done to death with DVD highlights or message board posts. WCW may have spectacularly collapsed in record time but, before they did, they left behind some classic moments that many of today's fans still have not seen.
