8. Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt

Shortly after Matt and Jeff Hardy reunited on Impact Wrestling in 2016, they went on a grand quest for tag team gold around the wrestling world. The storyline had already rejuvenated the North Carolinians' careers, with the goodwill extending to the already-red hot Young Bucks shortly before their electric WrestleMania 33 WWE return.

The #BROKEN Universe continued fixing the industry one wrestler at a time, with Matt and Jeff's feud with Sheamus and Cesaro turning the latter pair heel and refining their 'Bar' act for a superlative summer programme with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. Matt's WOKEN transformation has since enveloped Bray Wyatt, giving him a final chance to succeed in the gimmick on the main roster that may actually work.

The next logical step for both is a move away from Raw distractions that threaten the fung shui of the silliness. Bray has left his stink on everybody he's worked with on the flagship, whilst Hardy's long year on the brand has seen him cycle through most of the talent too. Working Tuesdays for the foreseeable will briefly at least keep the act fresh - something Matt will eventually need as much as Bray does now.
