Charlotte's SmackDown Live! go-home show victory was the type of win-win-win scenario that would make a human resource department salivate.

Win - 'The Queen' ending the interminable reign of Natalya on the blue brand confirms her place as the undisputed top talent on the show. Crystal clear since she rocked up in April's Superstar Shake-up, Charlotte is so far beyond virtually all the women on SmackDown that anyone else in her place as Champion had an unshakable and unconvincing air.

Win - By scoring the prize in Charlotte, North Carolina, Ms Flair got to share her moment with the most adoring of publics and her own, predictably tearful Father. It was 'The Nature Boy's first appearance on WWE TV since he nearly lost his biggest battle of all, and comes just weeks ahead of another nostalgic return to the Carolinas for the vaunted Starrcade house show. Flair country, indeed.

Win - Adjusting the Survivor Series card at the last, Charlotte's inclusion on the card in a singles match against Alexa Bliss in infinitely preferable to her planned role on the blue brand's Survivor Series team. Bliss/Flair is sort of a dream match in the current climate, with a proper heel/babyface dynamic also aiding the drama far more than the original Natalya clash would have.

There's the small matter of this win to consider too. On a night of inter-brand action, that one has to go to Charlotte...
