10 Most Insane Wrestling Spots Of The Week (July 12)

Not a good week to be a Cadillac or Kofi Kingston.

With the plethora of wrestling programming being offered right now, the various promotions need to find new ways to catch the attention of fans. The bar will be raised. Risks will undoubtedly be taken. Spots will become more and more insane.

A wrestling move can be defined as insane for a variety of reasons. Something that is wildly dangerous can rightfully be called insane. One example of this would be if a former UFC Champion decided to shotput pieces of an expensive automobile into a crowd. It's not exactly a 'wrestling' move, but it is shocking television.

Other moves that can be defined as insane would be the ones that elicit a strong emotional response. An example of this would be a well timed and impressive maneuver in the middle of an amazing 30 minute match that headlined Raw.

Not everything is labeled as insane for the same reasons - it's situational to define. Insane moves to wrestling fans are sort of like pornography to the United States Supreme Court - you just know it when you see it. And after a week of WWE & NXT, Lucha Underground, TNA Impact, and Ring of Honor, there's more than enough to see.

The following 10 spots are some of the more insane ones of the past week, into the previous weekend...

The former BroMans team (sans DJ Z) decided to settle their breakup in as violent of a fashion as possible: a Street Fight. Their match was the best bout of TNA Impact of this past week and it was in no short of wild spots.

Perhaps the wildest, most insane spot involved the use of a couple of steel chairs. Jessie Godderz was able to Powerbomb Robbie E onto both of the chairs, mangling the steel and himself in the process.

This insane spot set up Jessie for a submission victory, in which he placed Robbie E into a Boston Crab. He used a steel chair for added leverage as his former buddy passed out from the pain. But he didn't use a steel chair that was used in the previous Powerbomb...those chairs were pretty well destroyed after that.
