9. Sanity Is Revealed As Being Behind The Attacks On Breezango
Everyone's favorite fashionistos, Tyler Breeze and Fandango, have found themselves targeted as of late by an as-yet-unknown nemesis. Their offices have been vandalized and they've been attacked, but their investigation of the crimes has only led to suspects being crossed off the list.
At Battleground, though, Breezango will get their answer, as they've been officially called out by their mystery assailants. All that's left, then, is for them (and the fans) to find out who's been behind it all.
One of the rumored culprits, according to The Wrestling Observer, is none other than NXT unit Sanity (or SAnitY, if you're not into the whole proper capitalization thing). The squad, consisting of Eric Young, Killian Dain, Alexander Wolfe, and Nikki Cross, have terrorized the developmental brand for many months, and a call-up could be in the works.
While Sanity would fit into the spot seamlessly, there's more evidence against them being involved than in favor of it. Dain and Wolfe are an important part of the (very sparse) NXT Tag Team Title picture, and while they're unlikely to win the belts, their presence would be missed. For now, expect them to stay in NXT.
