Fans have been DELIGHTED by The Hardy Boyz' return to WWE programming, but one question has surrounded Matt and Jeff since WrestleMania - when will they return to the "Broken" personas that made them the hottest act on the independent scene? Despite the fact that Impact Wrestling owners Anthem have the rights to the characters, WWE has reportedly been interested in negotiating a deal for them - and money talks.
Recently, it's been rumored - but unconfirmed - that the deal has been reached. If that's the case, then The Hardyz can "break" imminently. One possible scenario is that the brothers lose the Raw Tag Team Titles to Sheamus and Cesaro at Payback, and that sends Matt off the deep end.
The problem is that it's a bit too soon. The Hardyz have been back (and have been champions) for less than a month, and WWE typically doesn't rush storylines like this. By SummerSlam, maybe it'll be the right time to split or "break" The Hardyz, but right now, their comeback story still has legs.
