9. Pedro Morales (C) Vs Stan Stasiak - WWE Title - WWWF MSG Show Aug 27th 1973 (52 Minutes)

Pedro Morales was the fourth WWE Champion and reigned for 1,027 days in the early 1970's. As part of his run, he came up against Stan Stasiak. Stasiak was a good wrestler with a mean look, very much of his time. He would actually end up defeating Morales for the title at the end of 1973, but only to serve as a transitional titleholder to get the belt back to Bruno Sammartino. In August 73, it was Morales reigning as Champion and Stasiak challenging. On this occasion, Morales defeated Stasiak, with the time coming in at fifty two minutes. Morales would go on to become one of the very first WWE Hall Of Fame inductees, when he was inducted into the class of 1995.
