10 Main Roster WWE Superstars Who Would Be Great In NXT

The Viper versus The Demon.

Before you think this is a list of ten guys on the main roster who just aren't being used and should be re-assigned, it's not. Sure, there's guys on here who are underwhelming on the main roster and need a refresh, but, there's just as many top guys here who could be in NXT having terrific matches that can put rising stars more significantly on the map. As of late, considering NXT as "developmental" is a ridiculous idea. If you stop and think, the main event of WWE's Money in the Bank PPV features two developmental performers, the guy who wrestled The Undertaker at Wrestlemania was from developmental, one-third of the tag champs is a developmental guy, and if you want to extrapolate things even further, the IC champ was on NXT when it was little more than pro wrestling's take on American Idol. NXT has certainly arrived, and if anything one should consider the relationship between the "main roster" and NXT as fluid, like imagining the Attitude era as a competition where WWF and WCW could freely share in the same talent pool. Life is pretty ideal right now in WWE, and in contemplating ways like these that NXT could "catch up" to the main roster, WWE can only improve their outstanding lot of late. That being said, here's 10 "main roster" performers who could benefit both themselves and the product from spending some time at Full Sail University.
