10 Most Important WWE Stars In Raw History

A ranking of the stars that made Monday nights priority viewing for WWE's fans.

The flagship show of World Wrestling Entertainment is Monday Night Raw. Wrestling fans have become conditioned to watch wrestling on Monday nights because of Raw, which first aired on the USA Network on January 11, 1993. When WCW started Nitro on Monday nights they did it because they knew that's the night that fans were going to watch wrestling. They did it to compete with WWE, but to also draw in more people to the wrestling business. Nitro died in 2001 while Raw grew to new heights. For over 21 years, Raw has been a part of our lives and it's not going away any time soon. During that time, WWE has aired over 1100 episodes of the show that started at one hour, then went to hours and in 2012 became a three hour spectacle every week. A lot of us may not like that Raw is three hours, but WWE's getting paid very well by USA Network to air that third hour. It's not going away any time soon. There really is no criteria for this except that you should know this is coming from a fan that has watched WWE for 30 years. Monday night really has become priority television. After watching Raw all these years, there's no way that everybody is going to agree on who the ten most important on screen stars were, but this is one man's opinion.
