10 Most Insane Wrestling Spots Of The Week (Jan 15)

Matanza crashed through Dario's roof!

Busted office roofs, head imprints into the steel walls near the ceiling, and bleachers with luchador-sized holes in them are a sure sign that Dario Cueto not only needs to call a handyman, but also that the main event of the Lucha Underground mid-season finale was a success. Several of the top spots on this list feature Dragon Azteca, Jr., Matanza Cueto, and Rey Mysterio because it was a wild way to put the show on pause.

Joining the action from Boyle Heights is a heavenly leap off the ring post by Seth Rollins, a blockbuster on the floor by Oney Lorcan, and a Jay Briscoe suicide dive that showed little concern for his own well-being. Many of the top programs in the current wrestling scene are represented because there's been plenty of great action all around.

Just in case anything amazing has been happening on WWE's U.K. Tournament, please note that spots from that show are not being neglected. Expect a standalone piece focused on both days in the very near future. For now, let's get to the week in insane spots.

10. Superkick To Vanguard 1

I'm fully aware that a pair of tandem Young Buck Superkicks to Broken Matt Hardy's drone is an automatic turnoff to many wrestling fans, but I'm still loving this stuff. This is leading to a cross-promotional tag match between two of the most popular teams in wrestling today, a match I'm very excited to see.

On Twitter, Matt claimed that this one flying drone seen on ROH TV was actually an "Imposter nWo Vanguard 1." Even so, this got a huge reaction from the crowd in attendance.
