This has been a week booming with great wrestling and most of that is due to the G1 Climax from New Japan. The fifth night of that tournament is coming to a close and already there's been a plethora of jaw-dropping action. Kenny Omega's springboard to the outside and an elevated Piledriver by Kota Ibushi have landed on this week's countdown and have to be seen to be believed.

One match that stole the show in the WWE realm was the 2 out of 3 Falls contest between Mustafa Ali and Drew Gulak. Ali shined as he defied Gulak's No Fly rules, performing a senton off the top rope to the outside of the ring. There's also a reverse hurricanrana that looked like no fun for Drew's head.

One spot that didn't make this list was the demise of the beloved kitty of Hiromu Takahashi, Daryl. Bad Luck Fale massacred the stuffed animal by ripping its head off, shredding its guts in front of a shocked Japanese crowd. This moment, which caused a passionate backlash against the Bullet Club member, was strongly considered but just barely missed the cut.

The content was just a tad too rich this time around to include it. Condolences are sent to Hiromu and his mourning Los Ingobernobles family.

Oney Lorcan has earned a reputation for being the resident bruiser of sorts on NXT. He and Hideo Itami had a couple of brutal scraps recently. Those were a ton of fun to watch. This past week, Danny Burch was the latest to have one of these highly stiff contests with the former Biff Busick.

During this spot, Oney slapped Danny several times in the face, leaving him visibly bloody. To Burch's credit, he wore the blood with boldness and kept on fighting.
