10 Most Insane WWE Elimination Chamber Moments

Get ready for another dose of the Chamber...

What an unexpected treat this was, hey? We're gearing up for a WWE Network special 'Elimination Chamber' event on May 31st. It features a full card of matches, including the much-anticipated main roster debut of NXT Champion Kevin Owens - who faces United States Champion John Cena - and Seth Rollins defends the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against old foe Dean Ambrose. But, just in case you hadn't noticed, there's something else. Two things, actually. The Tag Team Championships and the vacated Intercontinental Championship will be decided inside the chamber itself. It's been a long time coming, and the show is shaping up to be pretty darn exciting. Two people per pod in the Tag Team title match? Shut up and take my money! The chamber has been a long-term favourite match for what I'll guess is a big old bunch of us. The concept made it's debut at Survivor Series 2002, and there's been 17 overall prior to this year's event. It combines a 'War Games' concept with a good old fashioned 'Hell in a Cell' match and Superstars involved will go all out to impress. It's as unforgiving a match as they come. We can surely expect big things at the end of May, but here's ten of the most insane moments from the chamber's past.

Honourable Mention

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_2H6vIZR4g Technically, this moment shouldn't count... But a run-down of the most insane moments from Elimination Chamber matches doesn't feel complete without it. So lets acknowledge what occurred in the moments directly after the match at New Year's Revolution 2006... It's ingrained into my memory - yours too probably - and it played a massive part in shaping key events of the next nine years of WWE. Of course, we're talking about Edge's first-ever cash in of his Money in the Bank briefcase. Having won it at WrestleMania 21 nearly a year prior, the Rated-R Superstar was unveiled by Mr. McMahon on the stage as John Cena's next opponent - despite the fact a bloodied and battered Cena had won a hellacious chamber match just minutes before. Edge entered the ring, gave Cena two spears and walked away with his first ever WWE Championship. The Ultimate Opportunist was born. (Batista did it too in 2010, but nobody cares about that.)
