10 Most Memorable WWE RAW Moments From 1993

The year that Monday Night Raw changed pro wrestling forever.

By the time the 1990s had rolled around, Vince McMahon was ready to take another major step forward with the WWF, after having seen WrestleMania do so well in the previous decade. He wanted to take a show that was shot and aired to a live audience in arenas and ballrooms, instead of the usual sound stage shows with taped voice over work that had become the norm in wrestling until then. In January of 1993, Monday Night Raw was born, and professional wrestling television has not looked back ever since. It has been 22 long, hard years of blood, sweat and tears, both for Vince McMahon and his promotion, as a whole. Raw has seen some tremendous highs, and it has seen some incredible lows, but by being on the air for so long (1,130 episodes and counting), the show has become a weekly staple of wrestling viewership. The show has seen an endless amount of memorable moments, whether they be matches, promos, segments, debuts, turns or title changes. If you're going to take a look at the best of those moments, you have to start by going back to 1993, and look at the year it all began.
