Eric Bischoff fictionally aped one of his biggest WCW failings in setting a stipulation that would see Kane forcibly unmasked should he lose to Triple H on 23 June 2003's special MSG episode of Raw. After over half a decade hiding his original dentist identity (identisty?) under his iconic red and black mask, such a huge reveal probably should have been saved for a money-spinning pay-per-view, but nevertheless it made for one of the most memorable moments in the history of WWE's flagship show.

In the night's closer, Triple H naturally prevailed with the help of his Evolution cronies, and poor Kane was left with no choice but to submit his aesthetic anxieties to the entire world. Slowly removing his veil - and, oddly, hair - The Big Red machine stood head bowed for a few reverential moments, before dramatically turning his burned face to the camera. After all these years, someone promptly told Kane he could totally erase his disfigurement with some cotton pads and makeup remover.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
