https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eF-KM3b-UPs While WWE may now be a shell of it's former body-breaking, boundary pushing, Attitude Era self, that doesn't mean that the entirety of professional wrestling has sold out in a bid to capture the attention of the lucrative 7-12 year old viewership. There are still companies and performers out there that are driven by pushing the limit as far as possible, by forcing themselves to go above and beyond in an effort to truly captivate audiences at any cost - but this often comes with the massive trade-off of injury or worse. Companies like WWE want to maximise the career span of their talent, they don't want their performers' careers to be cut short. This means that they have to take serious steps to ensure safety in the ring. One of the key methods of ensuring this safety is by maintaining a stringent set of approved and banned manoeuvres. A quick glimpse into the list reveals some obvious choices; moves involving serious injury to the head or neck are typically not permitted, as even fully trained professionals can make fatal errors, but further and further down the list, it starts to become clear just how far some other promotions and performers are willing to go to entertain their adoring fans. There are some moves out there that reach an almost deadly level, and it's no surprise that they find themselves on the black-list. But what manoeuvres could possibly be so bad that they get outlawed by the largest professional wrestling promotion on the planet? Here are 10 of the main offenders.
