The moment that ended the professional wrestling business. This was the view that many old timers took when good pals Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Paul Levesque and Michael Hickenbottom took to the ring to put their friendship over the mystique and time honoured traditions of pro wrestling. Everyone was smart to the goings on back then so it didn't really matter, as the huge boom in the sport's popularity would prove over the next few years. The Kliq's impact on the business is unquestionable. Heck, one of them is a solitary death away from controlling it proper. Three of the five main members, Triple H and Sean 'X-Pac' Waltman aside, are now WWE Hall Of Famers. Each of their places in the Hall are more than deserved. So much so that WWE are now working on 'The Kliq Rules' DVD. The DVD will, as of now, be a 3 disc set and a 2 disc Blu-ray set. On there will be a reunion show (expected to air on the WWE Network soon), a new documentary feature, and a compilation of matches and moments involving the five main members. Honorable Mention - Justin Credible Vs. Tommy Dreamer: Stairway To Hell Matches
The former ECW Champion is the least known member of The Kliq. Mainly because he wasn't famed for being involved with the group. During P.J. Polaco's first stint in the WWF under the jockstrap-like mask of Aldo Montoya, he became an honorary member of The Kliq after Scott Hall, then Razor Ramon of course, offered to mentor his during his early steps in the professional wrestling business. The would-be Justin Credible was only around the age of 21 after all. Polaco ran with the group until his departure from WWF in 1997 when he left to join ECW, and it's with Paul Heyman's group where his most famed matches come from. The Stairway to Hell matches he had with the Tommy Dreamer are some of the best ladder matches ever seen. Although, it's a shame there is no videos of them on the internet to share, you'll have to find a copy of 1999's Guilty As Charged and 2000's Heat Wave. There is little to no doubt that Justin Credible's best year in Pro wrestling was the year 2000. At one 1 point he was both the ECW Tag Team and ECW World Heavyweight Champion. It would be great for fans who only remember his WWE runs to see what he was really capable of. He truly is one of the most underrated wrestlers of the modern era.
