The WWE brand split is returning, and the company is going to need a lot of new wrestlers on Raw and SmackDown to fill the workload. Outside names are being contacted to come back home, but it’s inevitable that NXT is going to be supplying a lot of the new roster members that will be badly needed. Rumor is right now that anywhere from six to twelve wrestlers are being eyed to make the jump to the major leagues.

Yes, it will be sad to see NXT be raided of some of their top talent, but that’s exactly what the developmental promotion is for: to get wrestlers ready for the main roster. That’s where the real money is to be made, and what every hopeful aims for. While some talent likely won’t be as used as well on Raw or SmackDown (see Tyler Breeze, Bo Dallas, The Ascension), it’s still their ultimate destination, and the company can’t afford to not fill their five hours of primetime shows a week with the best talent available.

Every division from the tag, to the women’s, to the heavyweights are going to need some new blood very soon. So let’s take a look at the top 10 wrestlers from NXT that WWE needs to call up for the brand split to help make it a success.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
