In the span of 10 wonderful minutes, one retired legend and another part-time attraction showed more emotion and gusto than the rest of the roster combined.

Together, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker are sheer magic, and the only worry WWE must have now is that fans online are more excited about a fantasy rematch between them than 'Taker vs. Triple H in Australia. That's down to HBK's affecting performance and The Undertaker's steely promise to take Michaels out if he dares make an in-ring return.

As two heroes of the past rekindled old tensions on Raw, a sense of sadness panged this fan's heart. In one single segment, they showed up WWE's creative inflexibility, and their astonishing presence (matched with an ability to keep fans glued to their staredown) highlighted some of the promotion's most annoying problems elsewhere.

Once that proverbial can of worms was opened, it was hard not to think of other issues rife in the company, or the mistakes WWE keep making with otherwise decent characters, feuds and concepts. Sometimes, being a staunch defendant of the biggest group around is tough.
