5. Stephanie McMahon & Test

It may be the most infamous 'wedding' in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment, but it is often forgotten that Stephanie McMahon and Test showed little in the way of chemistry up until that point. Theirs was the marquee storyline at the time, and whilst 13-year-old John was all-in on the saga it doesn't hold up so well to 30-year-old John.

Stephanie McMahon was new to WWE (then-WWF) television at the time, making her debut just a few months prior. Just 23-years old, Stephanie was somewhat wooden and awkward on camera, which was only exacerbated when paired alongside the equally wooden and awkward Test.

The idea for the story was sound enough, as the company had high hopes for Test and including him in a story with the McMahon family may very well have been the way to go. In hindsight, they would have been better off just having him as a big guy that frequently wrecked shop, as opposed to having to awkwardly emote with a 23-year old rookie.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
