10 Potential Main Events For WWE Survivor Series 2016

7. AJ Styles Vs. Randy Orton - WWE World Championship

If Bray Wyatt made sense to headline Survivor Series against AJ Styles for the WWE Championship, Randy Orton might make even more.

For starters, Orton has recently been featured as the bigger SmackDown star given the recent SummerSlam main event against Brock Lesnar and subsequent return match in Chicago. Orton took a legitimate beating in the Summer spectacular, suffering a concussion and needing multiple staples to close the gash on his head that was sustained at the hands, or elbows, of Lesnar.

From the company's perspective, who would deserve another PPV main event, at one of the big 4 like Survivor Series no less, than the man that took one for the team, getting legitimately beaten down by The Beast Incarnate?

All this is without even mentioning the potential classic that two great workers would likely put on. With Randy being sidelined with shoulder injuries for the majority of 2016, he's been absent for most of AJ Styles' WWE run. The two have been separated, which is more than can be said for many of AJ's other potential challengers, and the main event of Survivor Series would be a good place to have them meet for the first time.
