Roman Reigns is the new WWE champion, amid a chorus of Yes chants and cheers. It has been a sensational 2015 for the Big Dog, and he can now look back with a big grin on his face - Royal Rumble winner, WrestleMania main eventer, multiple great matches and two WWE Championships to his name. In the end, he got over, he became the number one babyface. His journey came full circle and he was ultimately stronger for the negative experiences. He's now firmly positioned as the franchise star (alongside John Cena) and 2016 is looking like a very positive year for Reigns and WWE. Creative played it very well with the title win, pitting Reigns against a genuine heel in Sheamus, in addition to having him in conflict with Triple H and Vince McMahon. For all the Sheamus detractors, this is why he worked as heel champion. Reigns would never have achieved such cheers against Seth Rollins. The use of Hunter and McMahon was also brilliant, with the old Austin / McMahon narrative still getting results. So, what next for the WWE Champion?
