10 Pro Wrestlers Accused Of Heinous Crimes

Guilty or innocent? In some cases it's hard to say...

The pro wrestlers we see on TV -- the men and women who come into our homes and entertain us -- are strangers to us. Just like any other celebrities, they have a public face that they put out, and at best, it's like an iceberg -- we see 10 percent, while the other 90 remains hidden. Some wrestlers are well and truly role models for young viewers... but many aren't. A few of them have even done terrible things -- and the frightening thing is that, in many of the cases, they seemed like role models beforehand.

Just a note before we get started -- some of the men on this list were tried and found guilty, but others weren't. In some cases, charges were dismissed. Some men never stood trial. One of them never could. In one particular instance, a court of law determined that a convicted man was wrongfully accused. To sum it up -- this isn't necessarily an article about guilt. It's merely listing the men who were accused of these terrible crimes.

Also, for clarification -- by "heinous crime," I mean any crime that constitutes serious physical/mental injury (or death) to another human being. Sadly, all of the acts on this list fall well within those boundaries.
